1. Fire Protocol| $50k| Polkastarter| IDO

Fire Protocol, a DeFi protocol on HuobiEcoChain, will host an IDO on Polkastarter on December 28. 200 addresses at $250 each, that is, the project will attract $50k.

2. Binance| $10m| Polkadot fund

Binance opens a $10m fund to support projects from the Polkadot ecosystem. Also, through Binance, it will be possible to participate in parachain auctions and receive Polkadot airdrops.

3. Linear Finance| undisclosed sum| Huobi| strategic round

Linear Finance’s synthetic asset protocol appeared on Crypto Deal Flow in early September. The project has now announced a strategic partnership with the Huobi exchange, and also announced the receipt of investment from Huobi.

4. Hashed| $120m| investment to crypto fund

South Korean investment group Hashed has raised $120m in a venture capital fund focused on early-stage cryptocurrency investments.

5. Exeedme| undisclosed sum| Moonrock Capital and others| private round

In the previous post, we already wrote about the Exeedme platform for gamers. Now the project has revealed private round investors, including Moonrock Capital, VYSYN, Morningstar Ventures, GBV Capital, AU21 Capital, Spark Digital Capital. The amount of the deal has not been disclosed, but it is known that the team received offers for $25m of investment. Exeedme will also host an IDO at Polkastarter.

6. HydraDX| undisclosed sum| KR1, Hypersphere and others| private round

HydraDX, a cross-chain liquidity protocol on Substrate, has raised funds from lead investors KR1 and Hypersphere with CMS, Tenzor, DFG and private investors. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

7. Skybridge Capital| $25m| investment in bitcoin

We wrote about the Skybridge Capital fund from Anthony Scaramucci on November 19. It has now become known that $25m has already been invested in the bitcoin fund. Recall that Skybridge Capital, one of the few in the world of big finance, will invest in altcoins and even in crypto projects at an early stage.

8. CoinDCX| $14m| Block.one, Coinbase and others| series B round

Indian crypto exchange CoinDCX has raised $14m from Block.one, Coinbase, Polychain, Temasek, Jump Capital, Uncorrelated Ventures, Mehta Ventures and private investors. In 2020, the turnover of the exchange and the number of users are growing at a faster pace.

9. Tidal| $1.95m| KR1 and others| private round

We wrote about the decentralized insurance market Tidal on November 19. The project team has now announced that it will receive $1.95m from the lead investor KR1 with participation of NGC Ventures, Kenetic Capital, Genesis Block and private investors.

10. MicroStrategy| $650m| bitcoin purchase

A regular member of our column, MicroStrategy Corporation ended the year with the purchase of $650m worth of bitcoins. Now in the reserves of the corporation there are 70 470 BTC, purchased at an average price of $15,964. The current estimate of the cryptocurrency reserve at a price of $25,000 per BTC is 70,470 x 25,000 = $1.76 billion.

11. Royale Finance| $300k| Polkastarter| IDO

Royale Finance has featured on Crypto Deal Flow several times. Project raised about $300k through the Polkastarter decentralized pool platform. Token listing is expected on January 8.

12. B21C Limited| undisclosed sum| CCIX Global| private round

B21C Limited, a digital asset investing company, recently announced that it received funding from CCIX Global, a global investment group. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

13. Cere Network| $1.5m| Arrington XRP Capital and others| private round

Cere Network, a CRM system powered by Polkadot technology, has raised $1.5m in investments from Arrington XRP Capital, QCP Capital, Kinetic Capital, Monday Capital and AU21 Capital. The team is developing a decentralized competitor to Salesforce.

14. Coinbase| grant to Bitcoin developers

Crypto exchange Coinbase has issued grants to two Bitcoin developers with logins 0xB10C (@0xB10C) and João Barbosa (@promag) on ​​Twitter. The exchange intends to continue to support funding for the development of Bitcoin Core.

15. SEBA Bank| $22.5m| no info| series B round

SEBA Bank, a digital assets company with a banking license in Switzerland, raised CHF 20 million ($22.5m) in a Series B funding round, investors are not disclosed.

16. SmartKey| $700k| ProBit| IEO

We wrote about SmartKey on December 7, then the project raised $800k through IEO on the ProBit crypto exchange. The team conducted the second round, during which they raised another $700k.

17. Flexa| $6m| Robot Ventures II and others| private round

Cryptocurrency payment provider Flexa has raised $6m from Robot Ventures II, Starwood Capital, AlpInvest, Innopay and private investors. Flexa solutions allow merchants to accept cryptocurrencies for their goods and services.

18. Uniswap| $750k quarterly budget

UNI token holders have approved a grant program for the development of the Uniswap protocol. The quarterly budget will soon be $750k.

19. Waves Association| $1m| grants

The Waves Association gives out the first grants for Web3 development: 150,000 WAVES (about $1m) are allocated. Grants were awarded to Sign Art (digital art project and NFT), Gravity (cross-chain oracles for blockchains), WavesFX (cryptocurrency wallet), Certificado (certificates on blockchain), Muna Wallet (cryptocurrency wallet with a focus on African regions), Wavescap (analytical portal for the Waves ecosystem).

20. Paralink| undisclosed sum| LD Capital| private round

Paralink, an oracle system for blockchain applications on Polkadot, has partnered with LD Capital. Most likely, the team received investments, but the amount is not known.

21. Nexus Mutual| $2.6m| community fund

Insurance Protocol Nexus Mutual plans to create a community development fund for 100,000 NXM (about $2.6m). Funds will be distributed by the community and can go towards developer grants, marketing, staking incentives, and other initiatives.

22. SpiderDAO and MahaDAO| undisclosed sum| Moonrock Capital

Moonrock Capital announced investments in SpiderDAO (VPN routers and software supported by DAO) and MahaDAO (ARTH algorithmic coin with value retention + MAHA governance tokens). The investment amount has not been disclosed. The coins of both projects are already traded on the market.

23. Bitmain| $35m| Riot Blockchain | miners are bought

Bitmain, the world’s leading cryptocurrency mining hardware manufacturer, has announced a new deal to sell 15,000 Antminer S19 series miners to the Riot Blockchain. The company is listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker RIOT. Deal amount is $35m: 3,000 S19 Pro Antminers (110 TH) and 12,000 S19j Pro Antminers (100 TH).

24. Keeper finance| IEO on BigONE

Keeper finance, a freelance protocol for developers, whose team took inspiration from Keep3rV1 and decided to conduct an IEO on the BigONE crypto exchange. Something went wrong, IEO is coming to an end, and less than 1% of tokens have been sold.

25. XdefFinance| $160k| Polkastarter | IDO

XdefFinance, a synthetic index fund whose capitalization is based on the number of assets in DeFi (TVL). The project carried out IDO on the Polkastarter platform and raised 235 Ethers (about $160k).

26. Kambria| $190k| Polkastarter | IDO

Kambria, a project at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics and blockchain technology, raised about $190k through IDO on the Polkastarter platform. The team funneled funds into the liquidity pool at Uniswap.
