DexGuru, an analytical and trading terminal for decentralized exchanges, has raised $1m from lead investor ParaFi Capital with the participation of Lemniscap, The LAO, Divergence Ventures, BitScale and private investors.
2. Injective | $10m | Mark Cuban, Pantera Capital, BlockTower and others | strategy round
Decentralized derivatives exchange Injective Protocol has raised $10m from Mark Cuban, Pantera Capital, BlockTower, Hashed Ventures, CMS Holdings, and QCP Capital.
3. Aleo | $28m | a16z, Coinbase Ventures, Galaxy Digital and others | private round
Aleo, a privacy-focused blockchain, has secured $28m in investments to bring its zero-knowledge applications to a wider market. California-based venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z crypto) led the private investment round. Notable contributions also came from Coinbase Ventures, Galaxy Digital, Variant Fund, Polychain Capital and the Joseph Lubin-led Ethereal Ventures, among others.

Fractal, an established trading firm, is pushing to expand into the world of decentralized finance with Tokemak, a project the team refers to as a “decentralized liquidity reactor” for DeFi. The company announced $4m investment round led by Framework Ventures, a well-known DeFi investment fund known for its bets on Synthetix and Chainlink. Other major funds such as Electric Capital, Coinbase Ventures, North Island Ventures, Delphi Ventures and ConsenSys also joined the round.

6. Kraken | undiscloused sum | RIT Capital Partners | acquisition
RIT Capital Partners, formerly known as the Rothschild Investment Trust, has acquired an interest in the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange. RIT Capital is a U.K.-based investment trust founded by Lord Jacob Rothschild of the prominent Rothschild banking family. It has a market capitalization of £3.8 billion ($5.28 billion).

Roseon Finance, a multi-chain mobile first yield aggregator, today announced the completion of a $2.1m seed and private sale rounds with participation of X21 Digital, Alphabit, AU21, Kardia Ventures, Genblock, Moonwhale and PetRock Capital.

The Celo blockchain project has revealed a list of over 30 projects that have received a grant from the Celo Foundation.

NFTBank.ai, an NFT analytics platform, raised $1.4m from lead investor Hashed with participation from 1KX and Digital Currency Group.

Pluto Digital Assets, an investment firm focused on decentralized technologies, is planning a stock market flotation on the Aquis Stock Exchange in London. The company was only incorporated in January but raised $40m in March in a round led by Argo Blockchain, a crypto mining company that’s also listed in London.
14. 3iQ | new fund
Canadian digital asset management firm 3iQ has received regulatory clearance for a dual listing of the Bitcoin Fund (QBTCu.TO) on Nasdaq Dubai, making it the Middle East’s first indexed cryptocurrency digital asset-based fund. The shares are expected to start trading on Nasdaq Dubai in the second quarter.

The South African cryptocurrency investment platform, Revix, has reportedly raised about $4.1m from its latest capital raise round.

Yield Guild Games raised $1.325m from Delphi Digital, BlockTower, Scalar Capital, Youbi Capital, Ascensive Assets, gumi Cryptos, Animoca Brands, Dialectic, SevenX Ventures, Sparq Ventures, Matic (Polygon), Sfermion, Bitscale Capital, Flamingo DAO, Free Company and private investors. The company will not only develop games, but also invest in third-party NFTs.

Filebase, the world’s first object storage platform powered by decentralized storage networks, announces a $2m seed round led by Multicoin Capital with participation from Version One Ventures and notable angels like Ryan Selkis.

Fractal Protocol, a protocol for storing and exchanging user information, received a grant from the Web3 Foundation.

Torum, a social media platform specially designed for cryptocurrency users, has closed a $1.45m private round engaged by 13 private investors which consist of AU21 Capital, Momentum 6, Lotus Capital, Consensus Lab, Redline Blockchain Capital, Waterdrip Capital, Angel One, Hotbit, Oasis Capital, N7 Labs, Skywater Capital, IDC, Worshipper Capital.
20. SoftAtom | new fund
The SoftAtom investment fund was established in the Proton ecosystem to support developers and startups.
21. Ethereum ETF on Toronto Stock Exchange
In Canada, an ETF has opened for Ether, the instrument is traded under the ticker ETHH on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). About $20m was in AUM on the first day of trading.

Enterprise blockchain firm Digital Asset Holdings has raised $120m in a Series D funding round. Investment firms 7Ridge and Eldridge backed the round.

Stellar Development Foundation announced a $3m Enterprise Fund investment in Tribal Credit to advance development of its blockchain products built on Stellar, bringing banking solutions and cross-border payments to businesses in Latin America and other emerging markets.
26. First Digital Trust | $2.15m | Nogle | private round
First Digital Trust (FDT), a custodian of traditional and digital assets operating in Asia, has secured $2.15m in funding from Asian venture studio Nogle.

Ime Smart Platform, a Telegram-based messenger with cryptocurrency functionality, has completed private investment rounds. IDO date will be announced later.

Bux is an investment app, the European competitor of Robinhood. The project raised $80m from lead investors Prosus Ventures and Tencent, with participation from ABN Amro Ventures, Citius, Optiver, Endeit Capital, HV Capital and Velocity Capital Fintech Ventures. The team is also developing the Bux Crypto application.
29. CoinSwitch Kuber | $25m | Tiger Global Management | series B round
Indian crypto exchange CoinSwitch Kuber has raised $25m in a Series B funding round.The round was backed by a single investor — Tiger Global Management — marking its first investment in an Indian crypto firm. Tiger invested at a valuation of over $500m.
30. Huobi has raised $50m in four cryptocurrency funds
Crypto exchange Huobi, through Huobi Asset Management, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed Huobi Technology Holdings, has raised $50m in four cryptocurrency funds. The company launched a private equity fund in the mining business, an actively managed crypto fund with a wide range of assets to acquire, and two funds that will buy BTC and ETH directly.
31. BitGo | over $4.5m | USMS | contract
BitGo has won a contract with the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) to help the law enforcement agency retain and sell seized cryptocurrency. The USMS contracted BitGo for just over $4.5m.
32. Phuture | $1.5m | Ascensive Assets, SevenX, Moonrock Capital and others | seed
Phuture allows users to build, create and invest into indexes in a Web 3 environment. Project has just completed a funding round that raised $1.5m. The funding round, while led by Ascensive Assets, also included crypto investment firms like SevenX, Moonrock Capital, and Origin Capital. Danish Chaudry, the CEO of Bitcoin.com, also participated in the funding round.
